All assessments are governed by SACAI, the South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute. SACAI was established in 2012 and is a non-profit private assessment body that assesses the National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Learners and parents join us and together we navigate the academic year with all the formal assessments, exam registrations, right up to the exam venue procedures and protocols.
SACAI’s learners who write and pass the NSC examination in Grade 12 (NQF 4) are issued a Senior Certificate by Umalusi. They are the official body that oversees further education and training (FET) qualifications in South Africa.
